Dear Friends,
Its been three months since we returned from Ethiopia. We thought we were bringing home a petite little Ethiopian baby, but have since realized that the 5 pounds she has gained here has vaulted her into the 75th percentile for her age. Wow.
The most common questions we get still are: How is she adjusting? How is Ernie adjusting? How is she sleeping? The answer to the first two still are: just fine, just great. And as to the sleeping question, we can tell you that she sleeps from 8:30pm to 6:00am perfectly, and sometimes even sleeps until 7, when she wants to make her mommy really happy.
Anna's latest developments include kicking her legs furiously and pushing her tushy up in the air while on her tummy. Her favorite game is sitting in her high chair, grabbing a toy from the tray, shaking it, biting it, banging it and then throwing it over the edge to hear the satisfying crash of plastic on hardwood. She has tried lots of different veggies and fruits, and is happy to eat them all, as long as bites of green beans are punctuated with bites of applesauce.
